It is a very impressive performance art form, but you should keep in mind that a real fight wouldn't take more than few seconds before the empty handed opponent is injured.
in a real fight nobody waits for the other one to dodge then launch the attack.
I agree with you, this was just a game but their synchronization was very precise.
