Unterwegs nach Eindhoven zum Sound of Revolution Festival | On the way to Eindhoven to the Sound of Revolution Festival - DEU/ENG

Schatzi und ich sind wieder unterwegs und das Wochenende genießen und feiern.
Heute geht es nach Eindhoven in Holland aufs Sound of Revolution Festival. Das Festival ist heute und morgen.

• Schatzi and I are on our way again to enjoy and celebrate the weekend.
  Today we go to Eindhoven in Holland to the Sound of Revolution Festival. The festival is today and tomorrow.

Wir haben ein schönes Hotel für 2 Nächte gebucht, das direkt in der City in der Nähe vom Bahnhof ist. Studentenhotel heißt es.

• We have booked a nice hotel for 2 nights, which is directly in the city near the train station. It's called a student hotel.

In Mülheim sind wir erstmal mit der Straßenbahn los zum Hauptbahnhof Mülheim.

• In Mülheim we took the tram to Mülheim main station.

Am Hauptbahnhof dann weiter mit der S-Bahn nach Oberhausen.

• At the main station take the S-Bahn to Oberhausen.

Der Boden am Bahnhof wurde neu gemacht, und auch die Lampen-Pfosten wurden neu gemacht...aber das Mülheim an der Ruhr Schild ist noch das olle..

• The floor at the station was rebuilt, and also the lamp-posts were rebuilt...but the Mülheim an der Ruhr sign is still the old one.

Die neue S-Bahn nach Oberhausen hatte auch mal einen tollen Designer 😂

Und was soll diese bescheuerte Zusammenstellung der komischen Bildchen auf den Sitzen???

Was soll das?

• And what's this stupid compilation of funny pictures on the seats??
  Sun, wind turbines, nuclear power plant, elephant heart
  What the fuck are you doing?

In Oberhausen haben wir uns noch was zum Essen für die Fahrt gekauft und Wegbier haben wir schon dabei.

• In Oberhausen we bought some food for the trip and we already have some Wegbier with us.

An dem wunderschönen Fernbus-Bahnhof in Oberhausen mussten wir noch eine Zigarette lang warten und dann kam unser Flixbus.

• At the beautiful long-distance bus station in Oberhausen we had to wait another cigarette and then our Flixbus arrived.

Das Flixbus Ticket kostet für uns beide von Oberhausen nach Eindhoven und wieder zurück nur ca. 50 Euro. Das ist mal ein Schnäppchen.
Als wir das Flixbus Ticket übers Handy bestellt haben kam die Frage ob wir für unsere Busfahrt doch gerne zusätzlich eine CO2 Steuer zahlen möchten...
Das ist schon bescheuert wenn ich doch eh schon mit dem Bus fahre und dann trotzdem eine CO2 Steuer bezahlen soll.
Haben wir natürlich nicht gemacht.

• The Flixbus ticket costs for both of us from Oberhausen to Eindhoven and back only about 50 Euro. This is a bargain.
  When we ordered the Flixbus ticket via mobile phone the question arose if we would like to pay an additional CO2 tax for our bus trip...
  That is already stupid if I drive nevertheless anyway already with the bus and then nevertheless a CO2 tax should pay.
  Of course we did not do that.

Mittlerweile sind wir in Venlo und machen eine halbe Stunde Pause.
Erkennt man auch gleich an den Autos.

• Meanwhile we are in Venlo and take a half hour break.
  You can tell by the cars.

Zeit für das erste Bierchen!

• Time for our first beer!
