让我们先来看一个小对话。 >老师：“来，说说，你都有什么兴趣爱好？” 学生：“我爱好广泛，包括画画、足球、书法、写作等等。” 老师：“那，哪些是你的特长？” 学生：“我得好好想想。。。”

我们常说，兴趣是最好的老师。有了兴趣，再枯燥的事情也能生动起来；失了兴趣，再刺激的事情也会归于乏味。

然而，兴趣人人有，特长却难求。往俗了讲，特长可以打发时间；往雅了说，特长能够陶冶情操；往深了论，特长才是通往成功的通行证。

培养兴趣只是起点，把兴趣发展为特长才是我们的目标。没有发展为特长的兴趣，最终也只能落得被打入冷宫的命运。

就像开篇中的故事，当老师问学生有什么兴趣爱好时，这位学生可以口若悬河滔滔不绝。而当老师问起这么多兴趣中，他擅长什么时，学生却沉默了。我想，这也是我们大多数人的真实写照吧。

曾几何时，漫画、电脑绘图（PhotoShop 、AutoCAD、SolidWorks）、动画制作（Flash）、写作、英语、手工制作等都是我的兴趣。最终坚持下来，发展为特长的，也寥寥无几。

现代社会快节奏的生活方式，很容易使人产生浮躁的心理。然而，只有当你能够静下心来，潜心钻研的时候，才有可能把你的潜力发挥出来，将你的兴趣变为特长，去创造更大的价值。

幸运的是，我们现在拥有Steemit这样一个好的平台。希望大家都能好好利用它，把兴趣变成特长。

It is known to all that interest is the best teacher. With interest, a boring task may seem pleasant; without interest, any exciting thing will end up with dullness.

Meanwhile, however, we should bear in mind that it is easy to grow interests than mastering them. Skills enable us to kill time as well as cultivate our taste. More important, skills may lead us to success.

Developing interests is just the start. In the long run, we should practice our interests such that they will become our skills in the future.
