今天看《星洲日报》新闻报道头条是交通部最新的车牌招标结果，就是政府推出Malaysia 系列的车牌竞标。

Today saw the Sinchew headline was regarding the Malaysia Transportation Ministry car plate number bidding result for Malaysia series.

原来8055 可以解读为"BOSS"的，

Now I only know 8055 can be read as "BOSS" hehe

这Aldi国际公司不知什么来头，这么舍得竞标车牌的，首十大竞标价高里，有三个它得标。

说起这车牌竞标，在大马是蛮夯的一件事，事缘许多人都喜欢为自己的爱车取个有意义、好意头或容易记得的车牌。而大马各个不同的州属注册的车辆，是以不同英文字母为首来区别的，这迟一些@auleo 再作分享。

Something about the car plate number bidding, it's quite a popular thing in Malaysia, where people like their cars to be named with numbers that carries special meaning or good luck or easy to remember. And while different states in Malaysia having different prefix in their state registered car, for this @auleo would describe it in another article.

好像以下这BET 888是吉隆坡旁最繁荣的州属-雪兰鹅 Selangor所注册的，因为汽车号码是轮着去的，BER 到BES到BET系列，所以当雪兰鹅新车注册来到新系列，就会有很多人会去竞标，尤其特别的如BET系列，应该很多人会抢BET 8, BET 88， BET 888, BET 148 ,BET138等等（BET44等可能就没人要标了）

For instance, this BET888 car registered in Selangor- the wealthiest state beside the capital Kuala Lumpur. And as the car plate is in sequence, eg, in Selangor, from BER next to BES, then BET series, when it comes to series with special meaning as in this BET series, many will bid to get their favourite numbers like BET 8, BET88, BET888, BET 148, BET138 (I doubt if any would bid BET 44)

没什么特别的系列，还是很多人会要容易记得的号码，如这辆来自槟城的车主，1111 应该要价不小。

Even it's not a special series, many will still bid for good number, for example, this car from Penang. 1111 should be bid for high price.
