年年有余（鱼） | “齐白石杯”绘画大赛

从去年感恩节到现在，一直东忙西忙，连画笔都没摸过。前天看见@angelina6688 发起的“齐白石杯”绘画大赛，小兴趣被点燃了，谢谢@angelina6688举办活动，其实所有没时间都是自己找理由，时间挤挤总是有的。昨晚画到十二点多收工。

这次主题是庆祝新年，我选了“年年有余”这个主题，一是因为我最喜欢吃的是鱼，而且小时开荤也是鱼；二是每次吃鱼就能想到我的母亲，她烧菜不拿手，但是烧鱼却很厉害，都是因为我喜欢吃鱼。虽远隔千里，过年也无法陪伴父母，心中挂念。

步骤一：速写本，2B铅笔打稿。

本来想只画一只，最后决定画两只，凑双，成圆，寓意成双成对，团团圆圆。

我喜欢一边画一边加细节，所以这一步大致打稿。

步骤二：针笔加线，我用了0.1, 0.3, 0.5三种不同粗细的笔。

步骤三：用0.1的笔先画出被我肯定的线条，适当做调整。

步骤四：填充纹样，题字。

步骤五：适当上色。

本来想全部上色，突然觉得是不是留黑视觉效果更好。想起我家弟弟特别喜欢涂颜色，剩下的就留给他去画吧，这样又多一幅母子合作图。

February 16 is Chinese New Year Day in 2018, which we call Spring Festival. It is the most important festival in China. Celebrations start from New Year's Eve to the fifteenth day of that month according to Chinese lunar calendar, lasting 15 days and some places will celebrate new year for a whole month.

In the New Year's Eve, just like Thanksgiving, all the Chinese family will get together and have an annual reunion dinner. Fish is the no.1 important food you will see at the table in the dinner. Every family will have a whole fish on their menu this day. Please let me explain why.

In China we have an idiom 年年有余。

年年有余 (pronunciation: nian nian you yu)
The double 年 in this idiom means ‘year-after-year’, 余 means surplus，年年有余 means having abundance year after year。

Because "Fish" and "surplus" are homonyms, so fish symbolizes wealth. Chinese people use 年年有鱼（fish）replace 年年有余（surplus）to give a good wish to the new year. Fish is the must-have dinner dish of Chinese New Year's Eve. However, Chinese people would not finish this dish, and keeping some fish left is a tradition, which means you will have abundance year after year. Very clever!

2018 Chinese new year is around the corner. I drew this picture to celebrate our festival and may our family have abundance year after year.
