noticed some black specks in the sky, so I found the photo in Lightroom opened it up in photoshop so I could remove the black specks

A problem I know well. Every so often either @catweasel or I will try to "remove a period" that shouldn't be there in something we've written ... or turn that semi-colon into a comma ... only to discover ... the problem isn't in the document. It's a fleck on the monitor screen.
