You are right; the people on Steemit are far more important than the dolphins. But I must say, I enjoy those 5,000 marks.
For me, it is a reward for my hard work, as, money-wise, I can never be rewarded for the number of hours I put in.
Take that 5,000 and the dolphin, put it in your pocket or pool, and carry on until you get the next.
