The first step to success for me is appreciation. I believe if you don't appreciate things, people, or even anything that helped you in achieving something, that thing will be taken from you in a matter of time.

Lately, I saw posts by different users, that a website sourceforge.net has started a comparison and a sort of contest between the best decentralized social media platforms. As a regular user of steemit, I took this personally. I have been a steemit user for over a year now. I have given a lot to this platform, and the platform has returned a lot to me as well. In matters like this, I believe it is our Responsibility to own our things. So for that, I voted for Steemit as the best decentralized social media platform, and I'll show you step by step as to how you can do that.

I'll guide you step by step on how to vote for steemit.

You will see a list of decentralized social media. Find steemit, luckily, steemit is on top. Click on the Steemit as shown in the picture above.

• Click on "Write a review"

After clicking on'write a review' you'll be directed towards a tab where there will be multiple sections to be filled.

• You'll have to rate Steemit in the first section, in the form of stars

• below it, will be a section of Pros in which you'll have to write about the benefits of steemit that it has given you.

• below it will be Cons section, in which you can write the cons of steemit.

Moving below you'll see more boxes such as;

• your overall review on steemit.

• your recommendation on this platform, on a scale of 1-10.

• the duration you have used this platform for

• your position on this platform.

• Click on Next Step as shown in the picture above.

The new tab will ask about your personal details, such as;

• Your full name

• Nationality

• Job Title and Company

• at the end of this page you'll be provided with an option of posting this review anonymously.

• Click on 'Submit' as shown in the screenshot above.

• You'll be directed to a new interface which will show a big thank you message.

The review isn't done yet, don't get confused by this message. After this, you'll receive an email at your provided email address. You'll have to Confirm your review.

• Click on Confirm Your Review as shown in the screenshot above.

• Once you have clicked on the Option, you'll be redirected to your browser, where you will get a notification that your review has been posted and is awaiting moderation.
