Clinical trials cover a wide range of different types of researches, ranging from testing new medicines to developing a more complicated design to forecast the outcome of the combinatorial approach to treatment. Alongside developing the trial design, planning a budget is essential to any research. Aggregating research data into a single pool is equally important to facilitate research process for many pharmaceutical companies. ClinTex will leverage the work in two directions, focusing both on sustainable data processing and allowing for cost optimization.

Spotlight on advanced functionality

Production of drugs to be put onto the market is directly related to the time taken to complete a specific clinical trial. Accordingly, the structure of the platform and a set of tools to be offered should be designed with a high level of reliability and provide greater visualization with regard to result interpretation.

Key modules of the platform
The functionality of the platform can be considered from different perspectives. Trials can be sponsored from different sources, mainly provided by governmental institutions or private fundings. Data processing will be organized around the Datahub: All data will be first collected, structured and processed. For this data will be verified through hashing and can be requested by the CTi Application.

Experts will be able to monitor the trial progress with the Operational Efficiency Application. The application provides single snapshots to track the progress that later on will be integrated into the Visualisation Application which allows for visualise the output as well. Data Analytics Application is intended to indicate risks alongside the Risk-based Monitoring Application.

Clinical trials recruitment
Recruitment should involve an adequate number of participants in order to achieve a goal of investigation. Looking at available resources with the Patient Recruitment and Retention Application will make it possible to enroll patients into a study. The application enables recruitment from both directions, that is, patients can express their interest and share their profiles while applying for a clinical trial, and at the same time, pharmaceutical companies can search for profiles they are interested in.

Since patient retention is equally important, Predictive Data Analytics Application will run in parallel to prevent the risks of withdrawing. In addition, medical services provided through third-parties, will be enabled with the Vendor Management Application.

Data representation
The whole scope of data related to different aspects of investigation will be segmented and processed with different applications as described above. Finally, they will be represented with the CTi Dashboard.

ICO Details

Pre-ICO round will start on October 1 and close on November 5, 2018. Main Sales have not been announced so far, the information should be placed on the official web-site of the project.

What sets ClinTex apart from its competitors, and in fact, from many other projects seeking ways to offer their services on blockchain, is that ClinTex doesn't cut corners on the platform design, but rather builds on the inevitable complexity of the clinical trials adopting its structure to every single aspect needed for successful completion of the research task. Patient safety is another important issue to be addressed with the ClinTex solution. For this, a representation of the adverse events will be enabled in such a way, that experts will be able to rapidly take actions when necessary.
