Rebutting Alarmism
Often you will hear some bit of news, and the commentators will lose their minds saying that humans are adding too much CO2 to the atmosphere. Bear in mind that the "experts" they interview rarely have the credentials to talk about the subject. This is an excellent interview with a real expert, Prof. William Happer of Princeton University.
During the course of the discussion, he mentions a couple of types of plants: C3 and C4. Eighty-five to ninety percent of plants use the C3 method of photosynthesis, and they account for 95 percent of the biomass.
