Improvising Genevan Psalm 44 (2 Notes Against 1)

in #classical-music5 years ago

I'm ending my day with one more improvisation for tonight. One of my students asked me to demonstrate how to improvise a 2 notes against 1 counterpoint. In the first verse, I'm playing the Genevan Psalm 44 tune in the right hand and in the left hand - the counterpoint. In the second verse, the hands switch and the tune travels to the left hand.

Let know what you think.

A complicated routine for an expert. I listened to the beginning but the tempo is too slow to keep my interest, sorry.

Thank you!
