Introitus and Kyrie from the Mozart Requiem (LIVE)
The Mozart Requiem is perhaps the most famous setting of the Mass for the Dead. Originally uncompleted, the piece has seen many attempts to finish the composition based upon the sketches that Mozart left behind after his death on the 5th of December in 1791. The best known completion was the one done by Sussmayr that was finished in the year after Mozart's death.
This recording is a live recording from our performance with the Hollands Vocaal Ensemble in Den Haag from 2008. Performed on historical instruments at 430Hz. Hope you enjoy it!
