Oh my, that must have been frightening to step out of the taxi to find dark, deserted-looking buildings. It's amazing how resourceful artists and musicians are to find spaces to work. It seems like it would be worthwhile for a building owner to set up a permanent cooperative space. Maybe this is where some of the money should go from patrons of the arts.
