Organ duel | Echo in G major - Gheradus Scronx
I'm pleased to be able to share this collaboration with you all of a composition by Gerardus Scronx. Here, Jeremiah and I play his Echo in G major as an antiphonal duet—that being taking turns playing small fragments, thus creating an echo effect.
Before we recorded, we made sure that both our organs were set to equal temperament and tuning is A=440. Jeremiah's organ is an Allen and I'm using the Hauptwerk Adriatic Organ Model (by Sonus Paradisi). It was a lot of fun putting this one together and I hope we could possibly do another duet in the future. It's amazing that we can do such things from literally the other side of the world.
