I recorded this track for my 2013 album “A Song To Remember”
Two grand piano samples were used in this recording:
Yamaha C7
Bösendorfer Imperial 290
I “experimented” mixing the 2 piano sounds and it just worked ! Two very different piano sound complimenting each other.
Interesting fact is that Bösendorfer was acquired by Yamaha on 21 December 2007.
Both brands are top rated pianos. The Bösendorfer comes with a heavey price tag, but it pure Austrian craftsmanship.
