At least 6 dead in London Grenfell Tower fire - Could cladding play a part in the intensity of the fire?
As per reported by Channel New Asia (http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/world/at-least-6-dead-in-london-grenfell-tower-fire-8944306), there are numerous dead and injured as the fire tore through all floors in London Grenfell Tower fire.
On Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenfell_Tower_fire), it was noted that cladding was installed on 2015-2016, which experts mentioned
This bears a similarity to the fire that consumed the cladding exterior at 30 Toh Guan Road in Singapore.
Hence, this does draw the question, whether cladding should be used extensively as a treatment on high rise building.
