The struggles of civilization

I am trying to bring to mind the main contours of human beings in the path of civilization. Ionian, for 2600 years, seems to be the place where all developments have come and connected.

Around the world, intellectuals and philosophers know that philosophical thought was first born in Ionia.

Let's put the tip of the compass in town and draw a circle within a radius of 80 kilometers. Here is the Ionian. The island of Samos, separated by a strait, is culturally Ionian soil.

Homer considers Samos to Asia. The thought that paves the way for today's Western civilization is seen there for the first time.
