What is Cavity Wall ?
In civil engineering cavity wall is consist of two parts ( skins ) and it is separated by a air hollow space therefore its called (cavity) wall. So here the cavity wall is construct from the brick masonry or also from concrete block. In cavity wall air space between two skin’s are from 5 cm to 10 cm.

Mostly the rain water are slowly drawn in cavity ( space ) from out side and inside of house.

Cavity wall Insulation
Cavity wall insulation is used in building wall masonry to reduce the heat loss by cavity wall , and the air space ( cavity ) are filled with glass fiber wool or rock wool are place between to skin’s ( free space ) Foam can be also used to filled the cavity ( space).

Cavity wall insulation can also helps to prevent convection and also keep the house warm by making sure that less heat lost through wall.
