Awesome old lever action rifle, but a bit of an anachronism!?!?! 🤔
OOPS! Maybe I was a bit hasty, seems these were first introduced DURING the Civil War!
The first lever action rifle by Winchester was the Henry Rifle. It was produced from 1860-1866.
The answer was given online by a firearms "expert" so I'm still not sure, but the oldest model I have personal knowledge of was the Winchester 1873. I am far from an "expert", however! 😁 😂 🤣
