Hello Steemitverse!

From the aesthetic condotel of the Metro let's jump directly to the City of Pines for the countryside vibes of the Pinewood Home.

It was summer of this year when my daugther and I went in the Summer Capital of the Philippines also know as City of Pines, Baguio City.

From our hometown, we traveled 5 hours to Manila and from there another 4 hours to Baguio. We opted to ride on the first class bus of Victory Liner for fast and shorter quest. Coz' with regular one it will take 8 hours due to traffic and passing every town along the way.

We arrived early at 5:00 in the morning. As we step outside the bus, the wind was cold, the sorroundings was wet as usual because of the fog and the musky soathing smells of the pines all around. The elements I am wishing for to have in the entire country. 😅

We had our breakfast in the near fast foodchain (Jollibee) besides the terminal. But still, it was too early for our 2:00 PM check-in at Wharton Tower but our hosts (from Airbnb, they are couple) are very kind and accommodating, they offered to fetch and take us in one of thier accommodations so that we can rest and freshen up, while our hotel will be ready coz' there are other guest that still occupaying the place.

They take us to Pinewood Home along Asin Road, just few minutes away to our booked accommodation.

The view from the window on the balcony in the backside of the house was breath taking and refreshing, far different from the chaotic city where I live. The houses are colorful and look like hanging on the side of the mountain.

And inside the house, another vibes was around... like a cabin in the woods.

As the name itself, the main house was built with pine woods, the interior and furnitures are created with quality and style.

Since the weather is cold in here, unlimited coffee was also offered in this humble shelter.

A contradicting signage, because the house was sparkling clean and everything was properly arranged.

This door leading to the balcony, artistically curved showing the culture of their tribe.

And there you go, the wide balcony overlooking the marvelous part of the city.

I stayed here for a long time while sipping my coffee, taking photos, and surfing the net connected from their free wifi. While my daugther is resting inside the bedroom and watching video clips on youtube.

After lunch, the couple fetch us and we move to Wharton Tower for our 3 nights and 4 days stay in a very very cheap price for the homey, comfortable and lovely accomodation.

I have'nt uploaded any photos of this place, maybe because we just stayed here for 6 hours but I guess this is the right time to have a spot and showcase you how wonderful this place was as my participation to #citystory #48. Photo captured by Sony Alpha Nex-3.
