The New City of Rotterdam

Greetings fellow Steemians , I would like to share about my visit in the city that once destroyed but rebuild in such modern city.

Rotterdam is a city of Netherlands , A major logistics and economic centre, Rotterdam is Europe’s largest port .

The destruction of the city centre in the world war II Rotterdam Blitz has resulted in a modern and Innovative city.

The Erasmus Bridge popular bridge in the center , connecting north and south part of the city second largest in Netherlands . The bridge was named after Desiderius Erasmus a prominent Christian renaissance .

The Rotterdam Centraal station was officially opened in March 2014. Before World War II , Rotterdam did not have a central railway station instead they were four stations in around the centre: Rotterdam Delftsche,Poort, Rotterdam Beurs , Rotterdam Maas and Rottedam Hofplein.

World Trade Center Rotterdam (WTC). It is a business center in with approximately 200
Offices with 93 meters high with various facilities such as a large conference center .

Delftse Poort ( Delft Gate) is a twin-tower skyscraper complex next to the Rotterdam Station Centraal . The tower is the tallest office in the Netherlands .
The tower is 151.35 m with 41 storeys, and the tower II is 93m and has 25 storeys .

Millenium Tower is a skyskaper a 131 meters . It is used as a hotel Marriot Hotel but also office space

Schouwburplein or “ The Square “. It is in the heart of Rotterdam amongst theater, transportation and pedestrian shopping . From there you can see the Millennium tower and the Delftse Poort.

Euromast is a observation tower in Rotterdam constructed between 1958-1960 with diameter of 9 meter. Euromast is a member of the World Federation of Great tower .

A restaurant in the top of the Euromast is a great place to eat , you can try their best culinary while enjoying the panoramic view in Rotterdam.

People who loves adventure. The tower is also possible place to climb with their safety harness and groups that will guide you.click here to see the website.
