A gull over the eternal city. / Чайка над вечным городом. #cityscapephotography

The white monument of Vittoriano in the center of Rome, for my taste, is too large and pompous. But it has a plus: a viewing platform at the top, from where you can admire the view on the capital of Italy. I was there on May 1, 2013. Pay attention, on the lower right you can see that on a wide road pedestrians go not only along the sidewalk, but also along the carriageway. This is because in honor of the holiday on May 1, blocked traffic for cars.
So, we admired the view of Rome from the monument of Vittoriano. Also have paid attention, that not only people admire an eternal city. The Roman seagull stood proudly and looked at the view as the owner.

Белый монумент Витториано в центре Рима, на мой вкус, слишком большой и помпезный. Но у него есть плюс: обзорная площадка наверху, откуда можно полюбоваться видами на столицу Италии. Я была там 1 мая 2013 года. Обратите внимание, справа внизу видно, что на широкой дороге пешеходы идут не только по тротуару, но и по проезжей части. Это потому, что в честь праздника 1 мая перекрыли движение для машин.
Итак, любовались мы видом на Рим с монумента Витториано. И обратили внимание, что не только люди любуются вечным городом. Римская чайка гордо стояла и по-хозяйски обозревала открывающийся вид.
