Chicano Park Mural San Diego California
This is one of many beautiful murals in Chicano Park, located in the shadow of the San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge in California.
This is a beautiful spot, elevated by the art painted on the bridge and highway supports. What used to be a neighborhood, was dissected by these big roads, and at some point, the locals took it back.
Now it is a generally peaceful place with annual events like car shows and festivals; and families having picnics during the day. Night is a bit of a different matter.
This is @fitinfun posting for my son @bxlphabet today. He is mia and in my thoughts and prayers continually.
