I’m not from there, I’m American, living in Athens. Belgrade was incredible, I did a photo story for a magazine on the city.
Definitely going back. Hated to see all the damage our planes caused on the buildings and the people in 1999. Had a girl drive me around the bombed sites as she described the situation at the time and it brought shame and tears.
I'm glad you understood our suffering. I'm also glad you spent a nice time here. you're always welcome
