Because if things get bad foreigners are always to blame, it's happening now. Just look at the mess in Europe, foreigners are to blame. They don't eat right, their food smells, therefore they smell...
And the beautiful South American countries, gringos are tolerated as long as the USD is king; but they smell bad and can't even talk right lol..

Yes in deed, I retired in the Missouri Ozarks but nothing compares to Texas. Will likely go home soon to be honest.
States are going broke, and the only option they really have is to raise taxes. There are good people everywhere but it's human nature to care for your own before others. If things get bad, and many think they will. It's going to be best to be poor in a rich country rather than rich in a poor country :)

Small world. I also live in the Missouri Ozarks. Texas was nice, lived in Dallas back in 2010. In the future, if things go downhill for America, Texas would be a safe bet.
