Ah yes, but I never said cities (as we know them) were the future, I do believe that the"public realm" might be the future. "Public" is a fluid term these days. Because you could argue that this steemit comment feed is a type of public realm. I'd like to think that all these digital interactions will manifest themselves in a physical / spatial way very soon.
So in essence, YES. We need to think beyond the big three - city, burbs, rural.
