How do we get the CCIE certification?
There are no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification. Candidates must first pass the written test and then pass the corresponding laboratory test.

What are the aspects involved in updating the CCIE certification?
Cisco announced on the early morning of June 11, 2019: On February 24, 2020, Cisco will release a new certification exam.
This update will involve an overhaul from CCNA to CCIE, where CCIE routing and switching certifications will be replaced by CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certifications.
First: CCIE RS certification is going to be phased out and replaced by CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification.
Second: CCIE wireless certification changed to: CCIE enterprise wireless certification.
Third: The mode of CCIE exam is changed to: written test (350-401 and CCNP certification core exam share the same written test) + design (3 hours) + deployment optimization (5 hours)
Fourth: It is no longer necessary to take the CCNA test before obtaining the CCNP certification. The CCNP exam has been changed from the previous three tests to the 1+1 mode, that is, one core test (350-401 and CCNP certification core exam share the same written test)+one optional test.
Fifth: The CCNA exam no longer contains many directions, but is uniformly known as CCNA, the exam code is: 200-301. CCDA Certification was renamed: CCNA DEVNET.
Sixth: The form of re-certification is changed to 120 credits (engineers are required to continuously systematically learn new knowledge).
Seventh: The time for CCIE re-certification is changed to 3 hours.
