"A QUIET PLACE" BY John Krasinski
I think it's a good movie with a very good story and also the development that is taking over the minutes is very good.
It seems to me very well that I have given the opportunity to a girl who can not speak in real life since this opens the doors to all those who suffer from a disability proves that they are not inferior to us because of a disability.
The points that are given in the movie.
It is silence, the true love of a family unit, a apocalypse, the disappearance of several races, give mistakes we can make, the guilt and sacrifice that every father makes to save their children.
The first 10 minutes of the film are very shocking as it shows the loneliness on the planet earth for lack of the human race and others, the silence they must have because the noise can call the beasts and after 10 minutes dies the smallest member of the family.
Throughout it is seen that this family is adapted to the situation that must be lived by the apocalypse, we see that the girl feels guilty of the death of her younger brother for having given her that toy rocket that caused the arrival of the beast , the mother does everything to keep her family together, the father looks for several ways to contact other people and make a device that works for her daughter to hear, he takes his son to experiment in the forest with him and long the death of a man already tired of living like this in a place in silence.
At the end of the film, the father sacrifices himself so his children can live and discovers what is the true weakness of the children.
See that the film from the beginning makes clear the name it carries, the death of the child was something that I really did not expect is shocking because in many films do not usually die children already with the beginning knew what could come. In the development of the film I see that the father loves his daughter despite the mistake he made to give the toy to his little brother but she believes that her father hates her for that mistake, the mother is like a role model to help always in the problems that each one had. The suicide of the man who no longer wanted to live like that, I thought that at that moment the father could die to protect his son. When they arrive, I think that the separation of the father and the son was not the right thing because his son could be killed by one of the beasts.
The part for me most emotional of the film was when the children are in the van being attacked by one of the beast, the father almost without force tells his daughter through signs I love you and I will always love you and when he screams something is left I was surprised that I thought he was not going to die, he shows that parents are able to do everything for us their children. It seems good that the weakness of the show is their strong point because if they could hear everything there should be some sound that It will bother you. I can not say much about the dialogue of the film because it is very short because of the name it carries. The effects are very good since you could detail each part of the beasts and look very real.
I think that from the beginning the girl did not have to take all the blame because she wanted her brother to be happy for a brief moment using the toy he wanted.
To the film in general 8/10
And the final point that I want to highlight is that we never think that our father hates us for something that one did maybe get upset but they will not always love us for what we are and we will also want to make the movie understand.
