Minions: excellent mindless entertainment

Let's be real: the popularity of the Despicable Me movie is mostly due to the Minions. So it was just a question of time before they got their own movie. It creates more questions than it answers, but who cares!

Since times immemorial, Minions have lived for a single purpose: serve a mighty master. But their clumsiness has been detrimental to them. After a very long hiatus, there finally appears a glimmer of hope: crime-con, where they meet the ultimate vilain(ess).

As I said, this movie bring more questions than answers: why do some Minions have one eye instead of 2? Are they immortal? Do they reproduce?

But that's not important: it's the Minions! BANANA!!! What counts is their cute innocence toward everything around them. And their naïveté too. Even adults will get a good laugh. especially with all those Brit stereotypes

The only negative thing I can think of would be the musical references, which people born after 1985 will not get. And is it me or one of the Minions plays the guitar intro to You really got me in 1968?

In short, Minions is the perfect movie if you just want to sit back, relax and have easy laughs.
