AN ART FILM TO WATCH: WEEKLY SUGGESTION #1
Hello Everyone,
Every monday, i will be suggesting an art film that has shaped my perspective in art and affected me deeply by its cinematography.
Everyone who follow independent cinema would know about Jim Jarmusch. His approach to cinema is so pure and naive that you may forget you are watching a film and find yourself thinking am i watching a film or is someone reading me a poem. He made me love cinema so much that i have studied cinematography thanks to him.
Dead Man is the story of an accountant named William Blake, when he suddenly finds himself in a spiritual journey, in the wild west. Jim Jarmusch's cinema is very affective. His language is pure. His choice of music is perfect.
Look out the window. And doesn't this remind you of when you were in the boat, and then later than night, you were lying, looking up at the ceiling, and the water in your head was not dissimilar from the landscape, and you think to yourself, "Why is it that the landscape is moving, but the boat is still? Please don't forget to comment what you think about the movie. See you next week.
