Backstage of fire scene / Part 2

Hello steemit!
I want share with you more of my experience from filming fire scene at FEATURE FILM!

As i wrote before we were filming at place where normally firemen were training to rescue people .

Totally we got 3 locations to burn!

One was this house - where from our story main heroes suppose to rescue one old man.

Second was this place

It's like old wagon of train were we supposed to imitate corridor of burning house, before they will rescue old man.

Here was very difficult to film, because from our story- the burning house is wooden. And the wagon is just a piece of metal.

So, we need to imitate somehow with help of firewood , so in the end it will look like a wooden walls.

But firemen worried us to don't use too much of wood. Because this wagon when it's burning - it will be like a microwave! VERY HOT INSIDE!

And we have only 10 min to film before it will rich hottest temperature!

So, we need to really hurry, because our main actors were without any protection inside of this fire.
We don't want to hurt them!

But in the end everything went well! We filmed this part fast and actors were still alive)

So we made a small break and went to next part

Here was a scene when our heroes supposed to rescue small girl.

And of course with her we can not burn the house, because it's dangerous for her.

So, we were using powerful smoke machine, big lights with red filters to imitate the real fire)

Fire was only outside of the windows, to make it more realistic.

In the beginning we made to much of smoke)) Could not see anything)

Our small girl never was filmed before. So, for her it was a first experience.

But she was very brave and act her role very good)

Firemen were always next to us for security reason.

They told me, if something will goes wrong , they will rescue me immediately, but they are not promising it about camera and other equipment((

We were checking playback after every scene)

They were also participating in the movie)

This was our old man who main heroes need to rescue

Sometimes you have to breathe with some clear oxygen if you went in without protection.

This was our whole team from this day!

I love this experience! Looking forward to see the edit)

Next scene - we will rob a bank!
