There is a strange weapon being used against the US Embassy in Cuba
Soon came the hearing loss, and the speech problems, symptoms both similar and altogether different from others among at least 21 US victims in an astonishing international mystery still unfolding in Cuba. The top US diplomat has called them “health attacks”.
New details learned by the Associated Press indicate at least some of the incidents were confined to specific rooms or even parts of rooms with laser-like specificity, baffling US officials who say the facts and the physics don’t add up.
“None of this has a reasonable explanation,” said Fulton Armstrong, a former CIA official who served in Havana long before America re-opened an embassy there. “It’s just mystery after mystery after mystery.”
And here is an example of the dangers of certain weapons. These so called non-lethal weapons definitely can damage the health of people exposed to it. I don't know exactly what the weapon is but the US Embassy is often a target of spying. The Guardian article goes into details about the mystery and how the physics do not add up but when something is developed in secret and classified perhaps new understandings of physics are also classified.
What are sonic weapons?
Sonic weapons use sound waves to incapacitate people. Some of the effects:
Extremely high-power sound waves can disrupt or destroy the eardrums of a target and cause severe pain or disorientation. This is usually sufficient to incapacitate a person.
When a person's ears are messed up they will become dizzy and may even faint. A person under attack by these weapons may not even know where it's coming from at the time.

It might be a microwave weapon. They can be targeted very specifically. It's basically a microwave laser device, using a waveguide antenna.

I read today that the Cuban government has agreed to allow the FBI to investigate. Good luck with that....if I had carried out the attacks I would have moved all the weapons and any evidence as far away as possible.
There is no defense against these sorts of weapons used on civilians. How would you even know it's being used on you when it's completely invisible and potentially silent?
