It has rained none stop for the last three weeks. My church’s parking lot flooded and we canceled service. Wednesday we canceled too because we were having a social event on Friday. The rain hasn’t stopped, so below are my notes from NorthPoint Church Tv

Message Based on 2 Samuel 23:20-21

Dreams, big ones, small ones, and the impossible ones.
The lion that stops dreams becomes the lion of opportunity. In fear we run from the roar, but not lion chasers. Not because they want to catch the lion, but because they are running after God’s dream, calling, purpose. Your dreams should cause you to pray.

If your dream is safe then it's probably not from God. Easy dreams can be self-serving and pitfalls type of dreams. What is your way with your dreams? If your dream only provides an ROI, only provides a short-term pleasure, then it is too short sided and short lived.

When God gives you a dream it will always be tied to eternity.

The God-sized dream that causes to caliber.

Your ability to see past the short term will determine your ability to dream beyond the short-lived.

Every day, win the day, win the battle of today, run towards the problem today. The small wins lead to big wins.
Never underestimate winning in the small areas. Take the next step in the right direction. A dream delayed is not a dream denied.

Don’t you give up on God and improving every day. Your big dreams haven’t happened yet. Every step is a step in that direction. Keep looking for solutions and those steps will direct you towards the dream.

• Quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely to death
• Run towards the roar
• Set God size goals
• Purse Godly passions
• Go after dreams that are destined to fail without divine intervention

There is a lot we can do and equally important there is a lot to stop doing. For example,

• Stop point out problems become part of the solution
• Stop repeating the past start creating the future
• Grab the opportunity and don’t let it go
• Don’t let what is wrong with you keep you from worshipping what is right with God.
