Overwhelming size of the castle with beautiful gothic church

We hopped off our City Sightseeing Bus and decided to buy the circuit b ticket including 4 entrance. Arriving at approx.2:30 pm the queue for the cathedral was never ending so we decided to go in for the other attractions. We very much liked the golden lane that shows former life in the castle. 1 hour later the queue for the cathedral was half as long so that we decided to do it. We only waited 15‘ and were surprised by the beauty of the interior. Especially the colored glasses are beautiful. You can’t visit the castle without this beautiful gothic church.

Prague Castle and complex of buildings has so much to offer. Make sure you order headphones as you will miss so much information without them. On arrival there was a huge line to enter St Vitus cathedral so we went to visit St George's Basilica, a beautiful building, and had coffee in the plaza outside. Checked the cathedral entry and voila, no queue. Entry to the Treasury of St Vitus was a little disguised behind a closed door but we followed someone else in. The extra fee worthwhile - not included in Castle entry fee. We walked in via the Belvedere Giardinetto, Central Platz and Royal Gardens. Beautiful gardenscape.
