Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Death Valley!

Here's a shot at sunset in Death Valley National Park with my friend Andy. We visited for a few days of hiking in March 2017 -- while the mountains still had snow! (Yes, the hottest recorded temps on Earth were just a few miles from an 11,000 ft peak.)

I'm excited to be leaving for Death Valley just after Christmas. Planning to ring in the New Year with some pristine sand dunes!
