The War on Christianity isn't coming from the un-Christian

"Keep the Christ in Christmas"

It's a popular thing to see this time of year, yet people seem to have forgotten what Christ is.

Jesus the Nazarene, mortal son of God the Father, came to a world where such a disparity existed between the rich and the poor that the political and religious elite amassed power and fortune in the name of "serving the people" building temples and palaces of gold and favoring their donors.

The poor and hungry fed the poor and hungry because that is what the elite commanded them to do in the name of "charity" and "humanity" that they, themselves, did not espouse. The rule was carefully maintained in a way where the poor would be given just enough to live (controlled by the churches) and there would be no opportunity to lift yourself out of poverty because the tax would be enough to ensure no growth from poor to a living class.

In many places, "Christian Values" are becoming, or already are illegal

It's not Satanists, pagans, Muslims, or Atheists that are making these laws. Christians are outlawing Christianity!

While the politicians stand on their pulpits and preach "values" and send out their "thoughts and prayers" from their right hands, their left are quietly gathering in back rooms and passing laws to take care away from the poor, the sick, the aged, and the despot.

In the city I live in, it is illegal to share your food with another human being in a public place!

How can we, as a people, be more worried about "attracting undesirables" than we are about care and compassion of other human beings?

The war on Christianity is the same as it was when Christ came ... a war between rich and poor
