This is just a quick message to wish you all a merry christmas with lots of fun and nice food! Be sure to spend time with your family and loved ones, and just have a good time overall.
Today is an awesome time to be alive and on Christmas we should think about that and appreciate it. Thanks to the internet, loads of like-minded people are able to connect with each other and great new communities are created every day.
The Steem community is one of those great communities! The Steem blockchain has created such a big community of people who are interested in cryptocurrencies, financial freedom, and liberty. This community fits perfectly with my own interests and passions, so I'm immensely happy that this platform exists.
Steem and other crypto have changed the world forever and they will continue to do so in the future. We see that crypto is having a positive real life impact on many people's lives: thousands of people earn extra money through blogging, many Steemians are doing awesome charity giveaways (see @kafkanarchy84's giveaway, for example), and various people and organizations are working on apps that enable us to achieve financial freedom for ourselves (see @agorise or @dan's upcoming platform for EOS, for instance). Furthermore, Steem has led to the yearly Steemfest convention, which has definitely given people the room to create more initiatives that fit our common goals and interests.
So, I would like to thank all of you for being here. Together we are changing the world for the better. And we're winning! Let's keep it up and continue doing great things in 2018. :)

Damn, are you right! This is of course a very good time to be alive, Steemit and crypto is really spicing things up overly, a lot of great good is being done, and what's worse is that even greater good is on the way of being done! I'm dying to see what the year 2018 holds for us all, the crypto loving folks!
The year 2018 is surely pregnant and it's crypto who penetrated that, what would be given birth to would be simply put: phenomenal! Lol.
