SEASON OF REFLECTION ||| HOW THAT WE WERE RECONCILED BACK TO OUR FATHER
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us
that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1 John 3:1-3

God's reconciliation program is incomplete without us. A study of the New Testament should immediately reveal that God's mission on earth needs people. No angel or even any other spiritual being was charged with preaching of the Gospel. The Lord needs you.
Isa 6:8 says
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
From the fall of Man in the garden, the Lord has not stopped looking for those who will speak for Him; who will set aside their personal aspirations, opinions, and speak as the Spirit grants utterance. Not too many people yield themselves wholly and unreservedly to the Lord, because man is a free moral agent, it is so easy to mix the opinion of men with the Word. It is a delight to the Father when the Lord finds such a precious vessel.
There are approximately 7 billion souls on this planet today and science has proven that each person has a unique physical and genetic coding. Meaning no two persons are exactly the same; nobody smiles the way you do, nobody talks the way you do, nobody laughs the way you do. Within our uniqueness is our ministry.
Your life can be a testament to the loving kindness, judgement, truth, and love of the Father. This month has been one in which the Father reminded us to live as those alive unto God. Yielding ourselves to His service without reserve is one of the ways we stay 'connected' to Him in a living way.
When we realize that it is a privilege to be called into the ministry of reconciliation, our prayers will always be punctuated with thanksgiving. But when we have an understanding of the workings of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of women and men, to bring them to Christ, like Paul, we will be compelled to give thanks always. Let's read what this extraordinary apostle said.
In 2 Thess 2:13, Paul said
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Paul, understanding that it is the Spirit who, not only brings the unbelievers to the gathering of the Saints, but it is also the Spirit that prepares their hearts to receive those life changing Truths. Paul knew this and said he was bound to give thanks always.
Have we recognized that it takes the Lord to reach souls? Have we recognized that without the Lord, we can do nothing in, and for the kingdom? The consciousness of these things compell thanksgiving!
Paul knew this too well. He had a front row seat persecuting the Church; but as he did, the Church grew and spread. Paul knew that such things are not orchestrated by themselves; they are the workings of the Spirit of the Lord. He knew without God, we could not build for the Lord. Without God, we could do absolutely nothing. This godly dependency should compell thanksgiving. We too must recognize this in our lives, and be bound, compelled and obligated to give God thanks.
It is not a simple task to haul someone from darkness into the light of God. The thought that we are co-labourers with the Lord is breathtaking. Such knowledge is too wonderful and praise-worthy! Paul knew this, and he lavished the Lord with thanks!
