Blunder #1: Building an iglooo. . . that we never finished

Blunder #2: Fixing the Christmas Star...cuz I was too cheap to buy a new one

image.png

It was broken on the part that fastens on the tree, so I glued a soda pop bottle to it as a fixture

Then I melted a hole in the bottom of the bottle for the tree to stick through, and I stuck it on the tree

...but it was ugly!

...so I made it a fancy "hula skirt" out of tinsel, and I s'pose it'll do!

Blunder #3: Fixing a Candy Cane...cuz it was missing a hook!

"The candy cane won't hang like that, son. It doesn't have a hook," said the mother.

"Where's the tape, I will fix it," said the son.

Merry Christmas!!!

Sort:

I hope you're OK.
I cut my finger in airport security flying to Katoomba for the #teamaustralia Christmas party (are people sick of me mentioning it?). Then I had a leech land on my finger (Vampire life drain? Lucky it only had 1 life point).

It's all good though.

Did they use medical leeches??? I always wanted to know more about that...

Australia is backwards at times but not that backwards. It's been a few hundred years since then. ;) LOL.

No this was a rare natural encounter.
And I was making a Steem Monster reference. big grin

Thanks for sending my gear.
I will be representing them next month.

I'm pretty sure there are still medical facilities which employ the use of leeches. Modernly. For the purpose of circulation improvement to injury, coagulation management, burn treatment, and infection prevention.

Yeah, they do. I humbly apologise at my poor joke. But isn't it amazing how something used for 100's of years hasn't been replaced by modern medical practices.

omg? is your finger okay? looks like rather deep cut! But hey, the tree looks amazing!

Yes, finger is doing well. Should be able to play piano within a few more days.

Yay! that sounds like it wasn't so bad!

Just when you thought you'd seen it all, @littlescribe starts a gore thread.

Ha ha ha! What did you expect? I can't just be froo froo and lollipops all the time, can I?

AYYYY!! I was enjoying your thriftiness, and then BOOM, that severe laceration. Why didn't use some hot glue and tinsel to save a trip in the spirit of things?!

Oh my god. I... you knew I was going to scroll to the blood. You devil, you :P

Hi @littlescribe

I haven't heard from you in a while so I figured out that I will check your profile. Just to discover that you didn't post anything in a long time :(

Hopefully you did not give up on Steemit?

Yours,
Piotr
