PRAY FOR BWARI
It was a terrible experience yesterday as plenty all over the world celebrated Xmas and the birth of JESUS we in Bwari Area Council of Abuja the capital city of Nigeria were running in a confused and disorderly haste in search of refuge...
It was the indigenous people of Bwari who woke up and started burning shops and the main market.
People lost properties wort millions of Naira in the space of few hours.
According to news flying here and there they said cultist killed one of their person.
Some others say the Gbayi's and Hausa's are fighting for leadership saying they are fighting for emirship.
So they woke up and started attacking innocent foreigners who came to enjoy the goods of the land.
Gbagyi people came out and started chasing not only the Hausa people but everyone and also burnt down the main market. It was disastrous!
When will things get better in this little world of ours??
Three people have been confirmed dead in the violence and a dusk to dawn curfew has, consequently, been imposed on the Bwari township by the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA.
Soldiers and policemen cordoned off Bwari following the orders of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA to impose a 6:00am to 6:00pm curfew.
The security personnel prevented residents from moving around and sent back home motorists taking their families out for Christmas celebration. Houses are shut while majority of residents were asked to stay indoors until the security situation improved. Churches that were observing their Christmas service hurriedly ended the service for security reasons.
