GOLIATH STILL EXIST?; YES. THERE ARE MANY CONTEMPORARY GOLIATH'S TODAY. NOW ITS PERSONAL THAN BEFORE.
Yes, killing the contemporary Goliath,
We have our personal Goliath,
It can be that sin you struggling with.
It can be that one thing that destroys people in your family
It can be that life threatening sickness
the contemporary Goliath is that one thing that threatens our comfort.
The good news is, before Goliath comes your way,God has given you all it takes to defeat it...
For it was designed by God, so we would defeat it and claim the reward.
Every Giliath comes with a big price tag.
I'm saying it was designed by God because, in the bible.. Goliath was announcing him self but never came forward for the war, not until David showed up (1 samuel 17 VS 23 -24).
Goliath in the bible was made specially for David that's why he came out so that David could claim the reward tag on Goliaths head.
THE WEAKNESS OF ALL GOLIATH
There are all slow, (because of their heavy ammunition, there can't move fast) 1samuel 17 VS 5 - 7.
their weapons are not sophisticated, there need to come close before there can harm.
As secured as any Goliath could be,there's always an unsecured forehead.
HOW TO DEFEAT YOUR GOLIATH
By having faith in God(by knowing God is bigger than all problem).
Stay with your strength, how?.
By staying with your strength I mean fighting with the world of God which is your strength...
Any other things will make you heavy and slow just like your Goliath.
1samuel 17 VS 38 -39.
It says in verse 38" and Saul armed David with his armor and he put an helmet of brass upon his head;also armed him with a coat of mail"
39 "....and David said unto Saul,I cannot go with these;for I have not proved them,and David put them off him".
- By going to them in the name of God,
1samuel 17 VS 45 " then David said to Goliath , Thou comest to me with a sword and a spear, and with a shield; but I come to you in the name of the LORD of host....".
You can defeat that thing that threatens your comfort,
Remember, you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.
For His thoughts for you are of good and not of evil.and these will always direct you to and expected end which is defeating your Goliath and claiming that price tag.
Go and take that Goliath down...
