This entire situation was absolutely a tragic accident. Of course it's made worse by racial issues, but it doesn't change the fact that a life was lost meaninglessly. Watching the body camera footage after the other police officers arrived you can see the horror in her eyes; she knew she made a tragic mistake.

Forgiveness is a powerful thing when used right. I hope everyone involved is able to find peace.
