MATTHEW 23:11 ESV

11 The greatest among you shall be your servant.

Many of us disgust being servants and want to assume big positions. The truth of the matter is that all big positions are for servants. You might be confused. The bigest role ever managed by man is that of Jesus Christ. He came to serve and die for all our sins. When he was on earth, he lowered himself to the extent of washing the feet of other people. But now, his Glory forever remains. No one is much more special than Him.

You are special because you were created in the image of God. If you werent special, Jesus would have never died for you.
One become more special by being humble and ready to serve. Everyone loves to be around special people and special people have lots of humility. God disgust pride and so do all humans. You being special is not a reason for you to exhibit your pride amongst men.

1 PETER 5:5 ESV

5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

The same way that you are special, so is every other human being. So there need not be any pride breeding within you. We are all the same and equally special.

1 CORINTHIANS 4:7 NLT

7 For what gives you the right to make such a judgment? What do you have that God hasn't given you? And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?

When we look at others and are tempted to think we are somehow superior to them, we need to realize, "There, but for the grace of God, go I." The only reason you are not in their shoes is because of God's grace. Without God's help, you could be in worse shape than they are.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:10 ESV

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am . . .

REPEAT THIS AFTER ME: I am valuable because God loves me, just as He loves all people.

Stay Blessed

The old testament can be summarized in the following passage:

Deuteronomy 20:10-14

''As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.''

If a village doesn't want to become your slaves the lord will assist you in murdering the whole population and raping the women. Women were divided among the warriors as spoils of war. Forced marriage and forced sex is rape. Especially when its forced by someone who just killed your whole family.

Thank You @tj4real Praise to Jesus.

Serving has been very difficult for many people but that's what makes one the greatest. We cannot be served until we serve. We need a humble heart to do this.. You have been an inspiration this morning... thanks
