SACRIFICIAL GIVING

2 Corinthians 4:8-15 NIV

8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[a] Since we have that same spirit of[b]faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself.15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

There is nothing much worthy todo with your life than to give it to the one who created you. We in the ministry know this that is why we can’t afford to spend our time any other way than to preach the Gospel.

During the war of Dr. Congo, a diamond mine was listed on the stock exchange. Business was booming even during those dangerous perilous times. Yet when one is appointed to pastor a church in a remote and less privileged community, there will be anger and miming. The family will develop hysteria in a moment.

The Point is very Clear: People are Giving but they are giving their all to the devil. People are sacrificing but its all to the devil. Look at yourself and examine how much you are contributing to the ministry of God and see whether that’s your best. If you are giving out anything below 100%, you are robbing God.

Psalm 91:14-15 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

God has promised us that if we set our love upon Him, He will honor us. Why then do we not give Him our all. My dear, reflect upon this word and deliver nothing less than 100%. Lets live a Sacrificial Life as Jesus did for us. To be able to enjoy the gift Jesus Christ brought for us, we must live His life.
