Blessing Of Family and Family Home For 2018.

It is a tradition in many countries that after Christmas and New Years the Priest comes and blesses the family and family home.

Here in Sydney there is a church where mass is in Croatian and the priest goes to everyone who wants to have their family and home blessed, same as he would in Croatia. So I asked for him to come to our home and for this traditional blessing and prayers to be done.

We prepare everything on the table in the living room and the priest prays with us, then he blesses us and the house with Holy Water.

We got a sticker to put up on the front door with a saint on it who represents the guardian saint who looks over us during this year.
On the bottom of the picture/sticker it says "Mir i Blagoslov" which means PEACE AND BLESSINGS.

Unfortunately this is not our house so I can not put it on the door, but I will find a place where I can put this picture (sticker) without sticking it to any of the landlords property.

The children got pictures of saints. A nice little gift for the children.
