The call to be a pastor is so important that not just anyone can take up the office. God promises His people in Jeremiah 3:15 - "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding".
Jesus is our best example of a Pastor. Hebrews 13:20; John 10:14
