Sunday Reflection No. 8
Hi Steemit Friends:
This makes me remember the song entitled "Refiner's Fire" by Hillsong. Like God, cleansing us from our sins, all of us want to be holy and pure. A refiner's fire purifies. It doesn't burn indescriminately, neither does it consume completely. It melts down the bar of silver or gold, separates out the impurities that decreases its value, burns then up, then leaves the silver and gold intact: the value appreciates and the finished product is more pure.
Similarly, in our lives, almost all of us experience fire and trials. We should always trust God's promise to deliver us from "evil", from the fire to endless joy. Salvation is by God's grace through faith by the purifying mercy of God.
Are you letting God shape your life?
Are you ready and confident of His love for you?
Lord, help me to always trust in You whenever trials come. Amen.
