STIR UP THE GIFT IN YOU
Wherefore I put ther on remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God , which is in ther by the putting on of my hands
2Timothy 1: 6
Looking at the scripture reading which is telling us to stir up the gift that is in us it did not tell us to stir up the gift that God is about to give us but rather the gift that is already in us.. So far as you are Hod's creature you possess some gifts that our Creator gave to us when creating human beings .
What are these gifts that God is asking us to stir it up
Let's look at some ..
- The gift if the Holy Spirit
The gift of the Holy Spirit is the first thing God give to his children . If God wants to give you anything he first gives you himself and that's the Holy Spirit .the Bible tells us that the Holy Trinity comprises of God the father ,God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Therefore since they are all known to be one and we are God's children whom he said he created us in his own image therefore we also possess the Holy Spirit in us . Remember God is a spirit therefore we are soppise to worship him in spirit so I a th t holy sporit that wilguide us in worshipping God in spirit
Acts 10:45 says And they of circumcision which believed were astonished , as many as came with Peter , because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the GIFT OF YHE HOLY SPIRIT . - The gift of righteousness
Romans 5:17 For if by one man's of fence death reigned by one ; much more they which receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness
The last gift God gives to his children is the gift of salvation ,.. He gives us salvation so that we can join him at our fathers Hyde when he come
