Believe in Jesus, Trust in Jesus

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

with the Holy Ghost (God's spirit/the power and presence of God/the divine nature)
and with power (the power of God/miraculous power):
who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil;
for God was with (The Father through the Holy Spirit)
him (Jesus Christ).

Hundreds, if not thousands of verses throughout the Bible give a clear understanding of who God is, yet today most Christians cannot discern the truth. To understand our faith we must not rely on creeds or traditions made by men. We must rely on Scripture and the Spirit.

This is what the Bible teaches:

God is the Father and the Father alone is God. We are to worship God alone and put no other gods before or beside him.

Jesus is the Son of God, the perfect man, born of God, by God's Holy Spirit who is chosen to be our Savior.

The Holy Ghost is the indwelling power and presence of God. It is not a person or being apart from the Father.

God was with Jesus through the Spirit. Jesus cannot be God because he was chosen by God, he was given power by God, and God was with him through the Spirit. Jesus is a man, but not just a mere man. He was more than a good teacher or a prophet. He is the Son of God. Just as Adam, Jesus has no earthly Father. He was begotten directly by God in the womb of Mary. He was made a perfect man just as Adam, but lived in perfect obedience to his Father, his God and our God. Through his obedience God's love was perfected in him, and he gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins. Because he had not sinned, God raised him from the dead and exalted him above all of Creation.

Is it hard to believe that sin and death can come to all through one man, the first Adam, and that grace and life also comes through one man, Jesus Christ, the last Adam? Through one man we fell and through one man we are raised.

Believe in Jesus, not because he is God, but because he glorifies God. Believe in Jesus because the Father has raised him from the dead. Believe in Jesus because he alone is the way, the truth, and the life. The Father loves His son and He will also love those who love His son.

God is not a mystery and God is not the author of confusion. God is one and there is one who leads us to him, Jesus Christ.
