Can You Heal All Kinds of Illnesses by Prayer?|

오늘은 '모든 질병을 기도로 치유할 수 있는가?'라는 제목으로 같이 한번 생각해보도록 하겠습니다.

I would like to talk about if prayer can heal any type of disease.

모든 질병을 기도로 치유할 수 있는지에 대한 여러분의 생각은 어떠신가요?

What is your thought on this subject matter?

전지전능한 하나님께서 못하실 게 없으므로 어떤 질병이라도 고치실 수 있다는 의례적인 대답은 하겠지만 여러분의 삶에서 이런 일이 일어나는 것은 별개의 일이죠.

It would be typical to say that anything is possible with God Almighty, thus, healing is possible for any illness. But these phenomena are completely separate from your own life.

그러나 저는 세상에서 고칠 수 없는 질병을 포함해서 지난한 삶의 문제가 있는 사람들에게 해결해주겠다고 오지랖을 넓히며 말해오고 있습니다.

I have been nosy, offering people help that I can help out with whatever problems people have in life, including incurable illnesses.

그것도, 주위 사람들이 아니라, 인터넷이나 블로그, 유투브 동영상을 통해서 말이죠.

Not through people around me but through the Internet, blog, and Youtube videos.

그리고 이 사역을 시작한지도 벌써 2년 반이 지났어요.

And it's been over 2 and a half years since I started.

지금도 계속해서 세상에서 해결할 수 없는 문제들을 가진 사람들이 저를 찾아오고 있죠.

Even now, people come to me, asking for help with the issues they face.

그래서 여러분은 제가 그 문제를 말끔하게 해결하고 있는지 궁금해하실 것입니다.

And I'm sure you would like to know whether I have been keeping my words.

엊그제도 소그룹 모임에 참석하고 돌아오는 와중에 부재중 전화가 찍혀서 통화를 해보니 자신에게 고질병이 있는데 해결해줄 수 있는지 문의하는 전화였습니다.

The day before yesterday, someone had a missed call on my phone, so I called back. It was a person inquiring if I can heal the illness he's suffered all this while.

그러나 지난 경험에 비추어보면 저처럼 이렇게 말하는 사람들은 대부분 뻥이거나 과거의 경험을 침소봉대하여 말하는 이들이 허다하였죠.

But there has been tons of people who speak like me; and most of times, it was a hoax, or it was people who exaggerated their experience and feelings.

또한 과거에 그들이 겪은 경험조차 진실인지 확인할 방법조차 없습니다.

Also, they have no way to find out whether their experience was truly God given or not.

그러나 저는 이제 사역을 시작한지 2년 반이 지났고, 영성학교를 시작하면 처음부터 이 사역을 함께 시작한 사람들이 적지않게 남아있으니까 그들에게 직접 확인해보시면 알 수 있을 겁니다.

If you have questions about my ministry, please ask people at CSA; it's only been 2 and a half years since I started, and many people who were with me from the very beginning still remain.

그러나 제가 이런 이야기를 하는 것은 제 사역을 홍보하거나 저의 영적능력을 자랑하려고 하는 것이 아닙니다.

I am not saying this to advertise my ministry or to boast my spiritual abilities.

영성학교를 와보신 분들은 아시겠지만, 제 사역은 더 이상 홍보하지 않아도 주말이나 주일이면 발 디딜 틈도 없이 포화상태입니다.

I don't have to advertise; it is already crowded with people beyond the building's occupancy capacity.

어떤 이들은 헌금을 노리는 사람들이 아니냐하고 물어본 사람도 있어요.

Some asked me if I am eyeing on the offering money.

저희 영성학교에서 헌금을 내야하는 예배는 주일에 딱 한번밖에 없습니다.

Only service I collect offering is the main service on Sundays.

매일처럼 집회에 참석하여 헌금을 쥐어짜는 기도원의 시스템이 아니죠.

CSA does not run on offering system of prayer centers.

그러니까 굳이 뻥튀겨서 홍보해가며 많은 사람들을 불러들일 필요가 없어요.

So I really don't need to gather people, exaggerating my feat.

문제는, 제가 수많은 사람들에게 모든 정신질환과 고질병에 상관없이 이 문제들을 해결해주겠다는 뉘앙스를 풍기며 말한 것에 대한 책임을 져야한다는 것이죠.

The pressure I get is that I need to help people to resolve their problems in life; I have claimed that I am able, and I have to keep my word and take responsibility.

그래서 오늘은 그 이야기를 좀 하고 싶습니다.

So I would like to talk to you about that.

하나님은 어떤 질병이라도 치유할 수 있는 분이십니다.

God can heal any illness.

그러나 우리네 교회는 고질병이 있거나 정신질환 환자가 찾아와서 해결받으려 하지 않죠. 우리네 교회는 그런 능력이 없기 때문입니다.

But people today don't even try askign God for his help. It is because church today has no such power.

물론, 우리네 주변에는 치유의 은사가 있다고 홍보하며 매일같이 치유 집회를 여는 그러한 기관도 있죠.

Of course, there are countless healing rallies everywhere, advertising how effective they are.

그래서 귀가 솔깃한 사람들이 떼로 몰려가고 있는 실정입니다.

So a lot of people attend, believing what the rallies claim to do.

그러나 그들의 소원이 이루어졌다면 우리네 병원이 죄다 문을 닫고, 의사들이 다른 직업을 찾고 있어야할 것입니다.

If what they claim is all true, hospitals in our society should close their doors, and doctors all should be looking for another job.

결론적으로 말하자면, 그들이 홍보하는대로 결과가 이루어지지 않는다는 것일 게 분명합니다.

But that is not happening, so it must mean what they claim does not come true. Not always, anyway.

그러나 성경에는 우리들의 믿음을 무색하게 하는 말들이 널려있죠.

The Bible says otherwise.

안타깝게도, 우리가 무능하고 무지하고 무기력한 게 우리가 마주한 현실입니다.

And this is the reality people face; they are powerless, energyless, and ignorant.

"믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며 뱀을 집어올리며 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라" 마가복음 16: 17-18 말씀입니다.

Mark 16: 17-18 says,"And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

"너희가 기도할 때에 무엇이든지 믿고 구하는 것은 다 받으리라 하시니라" 마태복음 21: 22 말씀이예요.

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." says Matthew 21: 22.

성경에는 믿는 자의 표적이 귀신을 쫓아내며 병든 자를 치유하는 능력이라고 말하고 있으며, 믿고 기도하는 것은 죄다 응답을 받을 것이라는 약속의 말씀으로 도배하고 있습니다.

The Bible states that people of faith has signs of driving out demons and healing sick people, as well as receiving whatever they ask.

그러나 왜 우리에게 이러한 일이 일어나지 않는 것일까요?

But why doesn't this happen to you or anyone you know?

그 이유는 믿음이 없기 때문입니다.

That's because you have no faith.

그러나 자신에게 믿음이 없다는 것을 받아들이지 않음으로 이 문제를 해결할 수 있는 시도조차 하지 않고 있죠.

But people don't even try resolvign the issues by asking God because they don't want to accept the fact they lack faith.

저는 자신들이 해결할 수 없는 삶의 문제가 있는 사람들이 어떻게 하나님의 나라가 이루어진 증거냐고 반문하고 있습니다.

I ask people how can they be the proof of God's kingdom and his will, if they are still stuck with irresolvable issues.

예수님은 하나님의 우리에게 들어오셔서 통치하시고 다스리시는 하나님의 나라가 우리 안에 이루어진다고 말씀하셨기 때문입니다.

Jesus had told us that God's kingdom comes when God comes into our lives; his kingdoms starts within.

그러나 천국이 아니라 지옥을 경험하며 살고 있는데 어떻게 성령이 우리 안에 계셔서 구원을 얻게 되었다는 그 사실을 믿을 수 있겠습니까?

How can you believe you are saved and the Holy Spirit is with you always, if you are experiencing life in Hell every single day?

그 동안 저는 성령이 내주하는 사역을 통해서 수많은 사람들에게서 귀신을 쫓아내고 정신질환과 고질병을 치유하였습니다.

Throughout my ministry, I have driven countless demons and healed illnesses, including mental disorders and terminal ones.

아시다시피 정신질환은 완치가 되지 않는 병이며, 평생 고치지 못하는 병들이 고질병이 아닙니까?

I mean, they are all incurable, right?

그런데 어떻게 이 질환들이 치유될 수 있을까요?

How can these illnesses be cured?

거의 대부분의 정신질환과 상당수의 고질병들의 원인이 귀신들의 소행이기 때문입니다.

Most of the mental and chronic illnesses are caued by demons.

그래서 성령이 내주하는 기도를 통해서 귀신을 쫓아내면, 귀신이 일으키는 질병이 나아야하지 않겠습니까?

Then if you pray so the Holy Spirit lives within you, and drives away demons, shouldn't you be healed from the illnesses demons created?

아시다시피 예수님의 사역은 귀신을 쫓아내고 수많은 병자들을 고치시면서 천국 복음을 전파하셨으며 사도들과 제자들도 예수님의 사역과 동일하게 귀신을 쫓아내고 각종 질병을 치유하면서 초대교회를 세우고 영혼 구원 사역을 해나갔습니다.

Jesus' ministry was to drive out demons, heal sick people, and spread gospel; his disciples also did the same, founding early churches and saving souls.

그렇다면 귀신을 쫓아내고 질병을 고치는 깜짝쇼로 사람들의 관심을 집중시키는 도구로 삼으셨습니까? 절대로 아닙니다.

Did he ever use his power of expelling demons and healing people as an advertisement? Definitely not.

영혼 구원은 악한 영들에게 사로잡혀있는 영혼들을 하나님께로 돌려보내는 일이며, 악한 영들의 공격으로 인해 각종 고질병에 걸려서 신음하는 사람들을 치유해주면서 해방시켜주는 일입니다.

Salvation is an act of sending souls back to God, freeing them from demons' power, healing them from their suffering.

그러니까 귀신을 쫓아내면 당연히 고질병이 치유되고 정신질환이 낫는 결과가 나와야할 것입니다.

So if you expel evil spirits, your chronic pain and other illnesses should be gone.

"일어나 너의 발로 서라 내가 네게 나타난 것은 곧 네가 나를 본 일과 장차 내가 네게 나타날 일에 너로 종과 증인을 삼으려 함이니 이스라엘과 이방인들에게서 내가 너를 구원하여 그들에게 보내어 그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하고 죄 사함과 나를 믿어 거룩하게 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다 아그립바 왕이여 그러므로 하늘에서 보이신 것을 내가 거스르지 아니하고 먼저 다메섹과 예루살렘에 있는 사람과 유대 온 땅과 이방인에게까지 회개하고 하나님께로 돌아와서 회개에 합당한 일을 하라 전하므로 유대인들이 성전에서 나를 잡아 죽이고자 하였으나 하나님의 도우심을 받아 내가 오늘까지 서서 높고 낮은 사람 앞에서 증언하는 것은 선지자들과 모세가 반드시 되리라고 말한 것밖에 없으니 곧 그리스도가 고난을 받으실 것과 죽은 자 가운데서 먼저 다시 살아나사 이스라엘과 이방인들에게 빛을 전하시리라 함이니이다 하니라 바울이 이같이 변명하매 베스도가 크게 소리 내어 이르되 바울아 네가 미쳤도다 네 많은 학문이 너를 미치게 한다 하니 바울이 이르되 베스도 각하여 내가 미친 것이 아니요 참되고 온전한 말을 하나이다 왕께서는 이 일을 아시기로 내가 왕께 담대히 말하노니 이 일에 하나라도 아시지 못함이 없는 줄 믿나이다 이 일은 한쪽 구석에서 행한 것이 아니니이다 아그립바 왕이여 선지자를 믿으시나이까 믿으시는 줄 아나이다 아그립바가 바울에게 이르되 네가 적은 말로 나를 권하여 그리스도인이 되게 하려 하는도다" 사도행전 26: 16-28 말씀입니다.

In Acts 26: 16-28, it says: ‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me. I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ “So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven. First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. That is why some Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me. But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.” At this point Festus interrupted Paul’s defense. “You are out of your mind, Paul!” he shouted. “Your great learning is driving you insane.” “I am not insane, most excellent Festus,” Paul replied. “What I am saying is true and reasonable. The king is familiar with these things, and I can speak freely to him. I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do.” 28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?

위의 구절은 다메섹 도상에서 만난 예수님께서 바울에게 하신 사역의 명령이죠.

This is Jesus' command to Paul when they met at Damascus.

이처럼 영혼구원 사역은 귀신을 쫓아내고 고질병을 치유하는 사역을 떼어내서 할 수 없는 것입니다.

So the ministry of salvation cannot be separated from ministry of healing and exorcism.

그러므로 성령이 여러분에게 들어오시는 기도의 습관을 들여서 하나님과 깊고 친밀한 교제를 나누게 된다면 귀신이 쫓겨 나가고 고질병이 치유되는 것은 지극히 당연한 일이 아니겠습니까?

So shouldn't it be only natural to see your problems disappear, as you pray and request the Holy Spirit to come into your life?

그러나 사람들은 자신에게 성령이 없는데도 불구하고 성령이 안에 계시다고 착각하고 있으며, 믿는자의 표적과 겨자씨만한 믿음이 없는데도 불구하고 구원을 얻는 믿음이 있다고 세뇌당하고 있죠.

Many people, unfortunately, believe they already live with the Holy Spirit; they believe they are saved, even though they do not have faith at all, not even the size of a mustard seed.

그래서 세상사람과 아무런 구별이 되지 않으며 무능하고 무기력하게 살고 있는 이유입니다.

This is why you are living a powerless, energyless life, no differnt from those of the secular world.
